Art

Art can redefine how we see ourselves and the world. It is more than anything we can see hear or touch. At some level it is both the emptiness of lost space and the emotion of the topic itself. Art is so small and so large, so consuming and so plain. It is the rare flash of purple light on her cheek and the ornaments so thoughtfully planned to compliment the dress. It is the rather harsh fact that I cannot pay attention to a single word you say because I am consumed by the way the leaves play tricks with the light in the wind. It’s the smell of honeysuckle perfume mixed with the slightest essence of human piss from the corner of a bus stop in the city. It’s all too easy to say, to think that you "get it" and that art can be disected. This idea is in itself the empty stage, and it takes a lot of work to maintain this type of art. Art is dark and painful, its human emotion celebrated and neglected. Birthed out of being mistreated for years, screaming out to be seen, yet never truly represented by its own incompetent sales man.. Art is a journey of magical energy, from gently touching the hair on your skin to waking you up in a dream and keeping you in both realities so lifes experience can be amplified, there are very few humans that can do this, and we teeter on the ever pressuring question of who can go next and what are the moral implications.
